Christmas Gift Guide for a
Teen Girl

I’ve curated this holiday gift collection based on daughter-approved favorites that genuinely stand the test of time, items that have already traveled the world with us, and a few budget-friendly gems on our own wishlist.
My goal is to share a thoughtful mix of adventure-ready gear, creative outlets, and clever stocking fillers that encourage her to unplug and explore her world. Whether she's a budding photographer or a nature lover, these are useful finds that won't end up forgotten in a junk drawer by New Year!

Gift Ideas for a Teen Girl She’ll Actually Use and Love

Ive put together a list of ideas that either my daughter already owns and loves or is on her Wishlist for this year...

Uno No Mercy - My daughter is in sixth form now which means lots of time 'studying' in the common room. Her new favourite thing to do at lunch time is playing Uno with her friends and she has quite a collection of the different versions now

Love Shack Fancy Lip Balm

We visited New York last summer and me and my daughter had an afternoon shopping together where we went around the West Village and Soho, we popped into a shop called Love Shack Fancy which is a beautifully floral pink girly (expensive) shop. I was so excited to find that Wild had collaborated with them and this was purchased straight away for a stocking filler!

Movie Projector

This is something my daughter got for Christmas last year, she uses it in her room rather than a tv which gives her more space as she has the smallest room, its very cosy to sit in bed with your screen projected onto the wall! She loves it.

Hair Straighteners

Yes my daughter owns a better pair of hair straighteners than me! Ive been a hard core GHD fan since I was a teen myself and have an older pair. My daughter got these a couple of years ago now and they are so much smoother than my pair. Cant go wrong with GHD's in my opinion

Coach Handbag

This was a special gift for my daughter's 16th birthday. She absolutely loves fashion and I wanted to get her something special to mark her 16th birthday and something she could keep for her own children. This was the most 'reasonably priced' one I could find of a classic style. It's a small bag but perfect for a phone and small coin purse etc. She uses it all the time which is nice to see.

Camp Snap Camera

This is something my daughter bought herself with her birthday money. I loved the idea of this camera, it's a digital camera but gives the feel of an old school disposable camera. It has no screen to keep checking, you just snap and move on. You can upload them to your phone or laptop with a cable when you get home. She has taken it out with her all summer and all her friends have enjoyed taking pictures with it too.

Garnier Hair Mask

This is a regular on my daughters list, she loves the smell of it and its great at adding some moisture back into the hair

Ion8 Water Bottle

All 3 of my kids have one of these bottles and I'll definitely be picking up another colour for each of them this Christmas. We've tried all the water bottles including the big names like Airups and these Ion8 bottles are by far all of our favourites. They dont leak, dont have straws which I find a pain to clean - they are very easy to clean and have survived almost a whole year so far which is unheard of in our house with the constant need to bottle flip (Sons!)

Astrid and Miyu Necklace

We first bought my daughter something from Astrid and Miyu as a gift for her to wear to her Prom. We bought her a necklace and she wears it almost every day. I have since picked. up a few pairs of earrings from there as gifts and they are beautiful designs and keep well. Keep an eye out for their Black Friday sale!

Watercolour Pad

We noticed one of these in a shop on a day out and my daughter really liked the idea of it. I ordered one when we got home from the shop however I received awful customer service from them so Ive found an alternative on Amazon. It would make a lovely little stocking filler and anything to keep them off their phones is a winner.

Fluffy Blanket

I mentioned to my daughter that I was making this guide and asked if there was anything else she would add. Straight away she mentioned a nice fluffy blanket. Basically anything cosy for them to be able to unwind and relax is a winning gift for a teen girl!

Pyjamas

My daughter owns this pair, they are such a good price for a soft cosy pair of pyjamas with a really lovely floral design and they wash well! Definitely tried and tested and loved.

Hot Water Bottle

Again another for the cosy list. Blanket, pjs and a hot water bottle - what else would you want really!

Nail varnish

Always a great idea for a stocking filler. we both like these Essie nail varnishes. They come in so many colours

Sol De Janeiro Spray

Again another staple, my daughter loves the smell of these. A very trendy brand that you cant go wrong with really.

Shop Body Sprays

Stanley Tumbler

Again another trendy item that you cant go wrong with. Lots of lovely designs and built to last. Perfect for sofa days, keeping hydrated whilst studying and taking in the car on a day out.

Hitster Board Game

Ive added this to my son's teen boy gift list too. It's a giant hit in our house. Such a fun board game thats been played with all the family and cousins have now purchased it now too. Scan the QR code on the back of the card which plays a clip of a well know song and then you have to try and fit it into your time line and guess when the song came out. It has songs from the last 100 years right up to current songs and literally anyone can play and it's fun to sing along to!

Notebooks

I picked up this notebook for my daughters stocking this year, a nice little low cost gift that she will definitely get the use out of with her school work.

Tangle Teezer Hairbrush

Another suggestion from my daughter on her gift guide musts was a tangle teezer. It has come highly recommended from her as the best hair brush and a must get!

Vampire Diaries Books

My daughter has never been a big lover of reading and it's hard to get her to try new books. However she absolutely loves the Vampire Diaries tv series and has agreed to give the books a try so this is something ive picked up for her this year

Shop BookSet

Bridgerton Book

As I mentioned my daughter isn't a huge reader however she loves Bridgerton and my sister picked up this (beautiful looking may I add) Bridgerton book for her birthday which she has actuallyy been reading. It also looks lovely on her shelf. Ive ordered her the 2nd book for Christmas.
